I was referred to D&A Dermatology Clinic by a friend and her mother, who both receive skin treatments there. As a foreigner living in Seoul, I was looking forward to a professional and transparent experience. Unfortunately, what I went through was a major disappointment, and I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone.

I booked a skin analysis in advance and paid a deposit. After the analysis, I decided to have a facial treatment, which included steam cleansing to open the pores, extraction of pimples and blackheads with a small extraction tool, a face mask, red light therapy, treatment with a device that I believe was an LDM-type device, cream, and sunscreen.

On the same day, a close friend of mine had her skin analysis and the same facial treatment at the clinic, about one hour before my appointment. We compared everything afterwards in detail, and the steps, devices, ingredients and timing were identical. We did not book different packages or different treatment types. We also have similar skin concerns, so there was no reason for the protocols to differ.

Despite this, I was charged €107.56 (approximately ₩170,000) for my facial, while my friend paid only €50 (approximately ₩78,000) for the exact same treatment. I contacted the clinic via WhatsApp, explained the situation in detail, and offered to send receipts and other proof. Instead of reviewing the billing, the clinic told me that our treatments had been different, which does not match what we both experienced. My concerns were dismissed, the claim that the treatments differed was maintained, and I did not receive a refund or a corrected invoice.

For a standard cleansing facial, this price is far above what I would expect, even in Europe, where a comparable treatment would not cost anywhere near this amount. Transparent pricing and honest communication are essential, especially for foreign clients who choose a clinic based on recommendations from people they trust. Unfortunately, this clinic did not meet that standard, and I would strongly advise others to check their pricing and treatment documentation carefully before booking.

I had an excellent experience at D&A Dermatology Clinic in Apgujeong! From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive. One of the biggest advantages is that the staff speak English, making communication easy and comfortable throughout the entire visit.

What really impressed me is the clinic’s team of five dermatology specialists, each with over 25 years of experience, along with more than 20 years of treatment experience. They provide personalized, one-on-one consultations tailored to each patient’s individual skin concerns and needs. The clinic is also equipped with advanced, state-of-the-art technology, which adds to the overall confidence and quality of care.

The consultation was thorough, and the treatment process was explained clearly, making me feel comfortable and confident. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and well-organized, and the level of service is outstanding👍👍👍

Most importantly, the results are amazing, and I’m extremely satisfied with my experience! In my opinion, D&A Dermatology Clinic is the best dermatology clinic in Apgujeong.
